We’re supporting a leading contractor delivering large-scale hyperscale and mission critical projects across the US who are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Director.

This is a senior leadership role overseeing delivery across major data center construction projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, driving project execution and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the full construction lifecycle.

The business is specifically looking for candidates with a proven background working for a recognised main contractor delivering complex data center construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall construction delivery across large-scale data center projects

• Manage project teams across operations, construction and project delivery functions

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget

• Drive coordination between construction, commercial, engineering and client teams

• Oversee subcontractor performance and project execution standards

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders

• Support strategic planning, project reporting and delivery performance

• Ensure quality, commissioning and handover processes are achieved to client expectations

• Lead and mentor senior project teams across live project environments

• Support business growth and long-term project delivery objectives

• Proven experience working for a recognised main contractor

• Strong background delivering data center construction projects

• Experience leading large-scale mission critical construction teams

• Strong operational and project delivery leadership experience

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex builds

• Excellent commercial awareness and programme management capability

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Stable track record delivering major construction projects from preconstruction through handover
